Biology
Currently I am taking Biology online. This class has been easier than my previous online class Business Law, because the instructor is helpful, and is engaged in our work. Yet today I am having a minor meltdown!
Meltdown
The entire class has to do the same project. The project is to wrap three leafs in tin foil and watch the progression of chlorophyll over the next three weeks. So when I went home over the weekend I wrapped three plant leaves in foil to prepare for the next week of class. Then I realized that I would not be there on Fridays to uncover the leafs and take pictures of them. Not to mention we had a large storm blow through and one of the leafs tin foil blew away. So when I got back to Indianapolis I decided to cover three more leafs on a bush outside my apartment, just to be fully prepared. When I got back from my internship today someone had taken the tin foil off! So I went to Walmart and bought a plant that will sit in my room in order to do this experiment!
Third Times a Charm
Overall I have learned a lot from this class in just the first week. I hope my experiment turns out all right! Third times a charm! Living in the heartland (at home) has proven once again to make life less complicated!
It sounds like an interesting experiment, but not without its weather challenges. I hope the plant works better for you.
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear more about the online biology class. On-ground you would be taking Natural Science, including reading and discussing articles and not doing many experiments. Neither has a traditional "lab" to it like at a university, where you might be doing experiments. Do you see drawbacks not having a lab experience?
